Figgis, a friend of Pavilions of Splendour, writes: "The Irish Landmark Trust is a body devoted to restoring (to their original structure and decor) lodge-houses, unusual architectural curiosity cottages and castles which they rent out for periods of time at very reasonable rates. If you contact them they will forward you their leaflets and they will also send you their regular bulletin with updates on their existing properties and future projects. They are well worth a look. The contact name is Geraldine Ridge. She is very helpful." |
